This policy explains what personal data Fictix, Inc. (“Fictix”) collects, why, and your rights. Generated company and persona data is fictitious and is not personal data about real individuals.

Who we are

What we collect

Account and identity data (via our authentication provider), billing data (via Stripe — we do not store full card numbers), product and usage telemetry, the inputs you submit (domains, seeds, scenario descriptions), company-enrichment data derived from those inputs, and support communications.

Why we process it & legal bases

To provide and secure the service, bill usage, improve the product, and communicate with you — under contract and legitimate-interest bases.

Synthetic data

Companies, books, and personas generated by Fictix are fictitious. Any resemblance to a real entity or person is coincidental.

Subprocessors

We use a defined set of subprocessors for authentication, payments, email, enrichment, hosting, and observability. The current list is maintained and available on request.

Sharing

We share data only with subprocessors, for legal compliance, or in a business transfer. We do not sell personal data.

International transfers · Retention · Security

Data is processed in the United States with appropriate safeguards. Account data is retained for the life of the account plus a defined tail; you can delete projects and close your account. We protect data with encryption in transit and at rest and access controls.

Your rights

Depending on your location you may have rights to access, delete, correct, port, or object to processing of your personal data. Exercise them via privacy@fictix.ai.

Children

The service is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We will post changes here with an updated effective date.
