Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Fictix service operated by Fictix, Inc. By using the service you agree to them on behalf of your organization.

Synthetic data & restrictions

Fictix produces fictitious test data. It must not be used as, or in, production books, financial statements, tax filings, or real transactions. The service is not accounting, financial, legal, audit, or investment advice, and is provided without warranty that data matches any real entity, standard, or third-party API.

Acceptable use

You may not use Fictix or its output to defraud or mislead anyone, to present synthetic data as real, to interact with or deceive real third-party systems or financial institutions without authorization, or for any unlawful or infringing purpose.

Third-party trademarks & no affiliation

All third-party product and company names and brands are the property of their respective owners. Fictix is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by them. Connectors are compatibility-shaped, not the real services.

Your inputs

You represent that you have the right to submit the inputs you provide and that they do not infringe any rights. You grant Fictix a license to process them to provide the service; we may refuse or redact inputs.

Intellectual property

Fictix owns the service and its generators. You receive a license to generated output for internal testing and evaluation.

Plans, billing & metering

Paid plans bill through Stripe, including subscriptions, auto-renewal, and metered usage above included limits. Fees are non-refundable except as stated. We may suspend for non-payment.

Beta features · Changes · Termination

Some features are early and may change or be discontinued. We may suspend or terminate access for cause, for non-payment, or for convenience; on termination your access ends and data is deleted on a defined timeline.

Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fictix is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and total liability is capped at fees paid in the preceding twelve months.

Indemnification

You indemnify Fictix against claims arising from your inputs, your use of output, or your breach of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, with exclusive venue in San Francisco, California. Contact legal@fictix.ai.
